Joy

Joy & His Lovely Wife Lorii ❤️

Hi, I’m Joy—a doctor by day, a shutterbug by passion, and a professional overthinker by night. In 2014, I traded my stethoscope for a Nikon D90 (temporarily, of course) and discovered that photography was the perfect antidote to the chaos of medical school. Who knew that capturing light could be as therapeutic as prescribing it?

Since then, my photos have been on quite the adventure—they’ve graced exhibitions, charity events, travel magazines, and even the hallowed digital halls of 500px. Oh, and I’ve also had the honor of contributing to National Geographic, because why not aim for the stars (and the occasional lion or glacier)?

When I’m not diagnosing ailments or chasing the perfect golden hour, I run a self-funded, non-profit charity called the “Joy Foundation” (yes, named after yours truly, because humility is overrated). I founded it on my 20th birthday because what better way to celebrate than by helping others?

My ultimate dream? To publish a photo book so stunning it makes coffee tables around the world jealous, and to travel the globe capturing moments that make people go, “Wait, is this real life or just a really good photo?”

So, welcome to my little corner of the internet—where medicine meets creativity, and every picture tells a story (or at least tries to). Let’s make the world a little brighter, one snapshot at a time.
